Leavenworth Recap (Updated w/ pics!)

The 2008 8th annual Leavenworth Drive has come and gone once again leaving behind some great memories, an epic drive and of course thoughts of a great traditional German lunch. The cruise was an eventful one starting in Surrey British Columbia, stopping in Bellevue, Washington to meet up with the US cars and then onto the small Bavarian town of Leavenworth. This year brought with it the largest turnout to date with over 650+ cars coming to enjoy the beautiful weather and European machinery. Highlighted among some of the cars were a few beautiful E46 BMW’s along with a very intimidating Porsche Carrera GT that was nice enough to give us a small demo of it’s power as it left the parking lot.

As always the drive through Steven’s pass and onto Leavenworth was one marked with scenic views, great road carving and some epic pictures of 600+ European autos living in harmony together. RPI Equipped! was proud to sponsor the Canadian leg of the event and be a part of what has become a marked day on the calendar. You can bet we will be back out in full force again next year hopefully bringing along with us a few more project cars we’ve been working on. Stay tuned for more what events we’ll be a part of in the near future. If you have any more pics from the cruise that we can add to the gallery, send them over or post up a link to them in the comments!
